Introducing a series of articles about the Tarot and other 'Stuff'

Way back in 1996, when I was living with my family in a tiny village, in the depths of rural France, I began to produce a little newsletter called "In*Sync"... I started it by printing the first issue on my computer, making 20 copies and sending them off to some friends and family members. My readership grew quickly and later, when I got on the internet in 1998, I soon had over 1700 subscribers! However, my life changed drastically in 2000 and I eventually stopped writing my newsletter - but that's another story...

Recently, whilst rummaging around at home looking for something else, I came across my personal copies of each issue and following several 'synchronicities', I have felt the need (been guided?) to re-visit and re-cycle some of the very interesting articles contained within the pages of In*Sync.

To give you an idea of what the newsletter was about, here's a quote from the very first issue:

"Welcome to the first issue of what I hope will become a regular newsletter enabling like-minded souls who have come together through coincidences (or synchronicity) to keep in touch with one another, to share stories, experiences, ideas, beliefs and knowledge.

This newsletter is aimed at people, like myself, who don't seem to fit into any set categories, don't put any particular labels on themselves and indeed don't want to be labelled. People who have had experiences, no matter how trivial on the surface, which mean something important to them, proof that there is more to life than doing the housework and keeping up with the Jones's.

This is also aimed at people who have very little knowledge of "Stuff" but are really interested and would like to know more. ("Stuff" is the word that we have adopted to encompass all of the subjects that we are interest in - things that are thought of by some people as being 'Alternative', 'New Age' or 'Occult', etc.)

Please don't be afraid to write in and ask questions. It will help me to grow and to learn as I search for the answers for you, or at least try to find someone else who can answer them. For those of you already 'in the know' please feel free to try to educate and enlighten the rest if us!"

I soon had several people volunteering to share their knowledge and passion - including a dear friend who wrote a series of wonderful, informative articles about The Tarotunder the 'nom de plume' of 'Janus', and who has kindly given me permission to share them again. Hence this new blog!

I will post the first Tarot article within the next few days - so please bookmark this blog and come back soon. In the meantime, you may like to visit my other blog The Daily Divination and check out your tarotscope for today!

Brightest Blessings,
Kaz
